Auburn Cultural Council charts advocacy push and eyes new grant opportunities. Chair Gillian Kies reported completion of the FY 2025 grant round while Treasurer Stephen Hubbard scheduled a meeting with the town CFO to distribute funds to grant winners. The council discussed three Massachusetts Cultural Council opportunities, including a Creative Experiences grant of $2,500 or $5,000 for a public experience and a Social Prescription program initiative tied to potential municipal opioid settlement funds.
To boost visibility, the council allocated $500 for marketing materials, plans website and social media updates, and will explore logo redesign options with local artists.
