Auburn Select Board waives permit fees for Fire Station construction, approves Goddard centennial events. The Board unanimously waived permit fees for the new Fire Headquarters building and approved two outdoor entertainment licenses for Robert Goddard's centennial celebration scheduled for March 14-16 at the Auburn Fire Station and Pakachoag Golf Course, both with fees waived. The events will feature rocket demonstrations and historical reenactments, with parking and shuttle services coordinated by the Department of Public Works and Auburn Public Schools.
The Board also appointed Erika Eucker to the Southern Worcester County Regional Vocational School Committee, term expiring May 16, 2026.
