Committee Creates Change Order Subcommittee for Fire Station

AUBURN — Fire Station Building Committee approves $600,000 change order authority, schedules bid recommendation. The committee unanimously created a Change Order Subcommittee with Greg Bohling, Heather Fortunato, and Alexandar Rozak as voting members and Glenn Johnson as an alternate, authorized to recommend changes up to $30,000 each with cumulative authority capped at $600,000. Connor Sullivan of Leftfield OPM reported favorable bid results, with a March 31 meeting scheduled to recommend award of construction bids following receipt of filed sub-bids on March 18 and General Contractor bids on March 25.
Tecton presented updated site security plans featuring reinforced bollards in response to the Shrewsbury Police tragedy.
