Conservation Commission Approves Fire Headquarters with Buffer Waivers

Auburn Conservation Commission approves new fire rescue complex with wetlands buffer waivers. The panel voted unanimously to approve the Order of Conditions for the facility at 10 Prospect Street, which received Site Plan Approval from the Planning Board the previous evening. Graves Engineering and the Department of Public Works had no outstanding concerns with the project, which includes buffer restoration and reduced impervious surface.
The commission also unanimously approved an amended Order of Conditions for a single-family home at 320 South Street. Chair Michael W. Garland's emergency authorization to breach a beaver dam at 25 Old Cart Road was ratified unanimously.
