Conservation Commission Continues Two Public Hearings to March 11

Auburn conservation panel continues Rockland Road and cemetery hearings to March 11. Chair Michael W. Garland and the conservation commission approved all motions unanimously, requesting additional engineering review of permeable pavement specifications for the proposed commercial renovation at 47 and 49 Rockland Road.
Residents including Tim Daly, Dan Largesse, Dick Chandler, Alan Rafferty, and John Capuano expressed concerns about alleged illegal activities and snow piling in wetlands. The commission also discovered and referred a possible trespassing matter at an 18-acre commission property in Worcester, assessed at $813,000, to the Town Manager and Town Counsel for investigation.
