Conservation Commission extends wetland order, tables cemetery hearing

Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 11, 2026

Auburn Conservation Commission unanimously extends Order of Conditions for Byland Avenue. The commission voted 6-0 to extend the existing permits and plans for the drainage and wetland project at 31 Byland Avenue after the property's recent sale, allowing active work to continue under the same conditions. Applicant Robert Duff of McClure Engineering noted erosion control measures are in place and the site is actively under development.

The commission also continued two public hearings for further review: an amended cemetery-conditions order at 0 Cemetery Road (applicant Todd Kirton absent) and a drainage-improvement notice at 15 Hardscrabble Road (pending staff review).
