Auburn Conservation Commission issues enforcement order for wetland violation. The board unanimously voted to issue an enforcement order against unpermitted construction at 330 Leicester Street within the 100-foot wetland buffer zone. Land Use Coordinator Nat Bickford will advise the property owner to file a Restoration of Area form.
The commission also opened and continued a major commercial project at 615 Southbridge Street: a 17,860-square-foot indoor golf simulator and lounge proposed on waterfront property largely within the buffer zone. Applicants are coordinating with the state Department of Environmental Protection and addressing parking concerns raised by Auburn's Planning Board.
