Auburn Planning Board continues three site plan cases to May 12. Chair Jason Asirifi and the board voted unanimously to advance an indoor golf simulation facility at 615 Southbridge Street, pending peer review and applicant occupancy information, with concerns noted about traffic in the Highway Business District. The board also continued site plan modifications at 282 Southbridge Street, where Quality Contracting seeks to add two commercial buildings, and at 15 Hardscrabble Road, where Casella Waste Management seeks drainage system upgrades.
The Southbridge Street case included a stricter attendance requirement: if the applicant misses the May 12 meeting, the Planning Board will close the hearing. Town Planner Rose Russell discussed preliminary work on streamlined continuance procedures.
