Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of March 19, 2026

AUBURN — Zoning board approves commercial permit in aquifer zone. The Zoning Board of Appeals voted 4 to 0 to approve a special permit for Mast Futures LLC for an indoor golf simulator facility at 615 Southbridge Street, a former gas station site in Auburn's Aquifer Protection District. Attorney Todd Brodeur stated that underground storage tanks would be removed and no hazardous materials stored on site.

The board also voted 5 to 0 to approve a home-bakery special permit for Michael J. Marin and Grace Marin at 25 Bancroft Street, limited to weekend pickups. In related decisions, the board voted 3 to 1 to rescind earlier denials of special permits for kennels at 25 Inwood Road and 3 Ashworth Street, citing procedural irregularities in the original hearings.
