Auburn Cultural Council taps new social media administrator, plans May outreach. Chairperson Gillian Kies and the council approved April meeting minutes and moved to add John as an administrator to the Cultural Council's Instagram and Facebook accounts to ensure municipal compliance for record-keeping of posts. The council also advanced plans for a Memorial Day parade table on May 25, with Violet Dussault and Kies volunteering from 10 a.m. to noon.
The council tabled discussion on opioid funding opportunities pending creation of a subcommittee to develop programs, with Dan Carpenter reporting conversations with the Town Manager and Board of Health Director about supporting Auburn Youth and Families Services.
