Select Board · Meeting of August 17, 2026

Auburn Select Board approves warrant articles and receives infrastructure project update. The Board voted unanimously to forward special town meeting warrant articles to Town Counsel for legal review. Town Engineer Emma Williamson and Assistant DPW Director Pete Borie presented progress on the Water Street culvert project, which is transitioning from a three-sided to four-sided design with an 18-foot span.

Design costs are expected to total approximately 200,000 dollars, with environmental permits anticipated in spring or summer 2027 and construction to begin in spring 2028. The Board also unanimously approved drainlayer licenses for two construction firms and accepted an 85 dollar donation to the Fire Department.
