Auburn Select Board approves $15.2 million bond note borrowing after correcting documents. The four-member board unanimously voted to authorize the sale of $15,242,000 in General Obligation Bond Anticipation Notes dated June 29, 2026, to Oppenheimer & Company, Inc., at 4.00 percent interest. Town Manager Dori A.
Vecchio explained that a $3.8 million scrivener's error in bond counsel documents had prompted the special meeting but involved no missing funds or legal issues. The borrowing amounts and Board actions remained unchanged from the June 22, 2026 meeting.
