AUBURN — Finance Committee approves $115,000 in budget transfers to address departmental operational shortfalls. Auburn's Finance Committee voted June 3 to authorize transfers, including $50,000 to the Police Department for overtime and shift coverage, $30,000 for fuel costs driven by winter weather and price increases, $13,925 for Town Hall heating coil work, and $10,000 for unforeseen vehicle repairs. The Fire/Rescue Department received approximately $11,800 in transfers for medical services and equipment costs.
The committee also approved four prior sets of meeting minutes and adjourned at 5:58 PM.
