Auburn Economic Development Committee plans zoning and outreach push

Auburn's Economic Development Committee charts course on zoning reforms and business engagement. The committee met with three of four members present to discuss two zoning measures already recommended by the Planning Board: an Inclusionary Zoning by-law and modifications to the Regional Mall Overlay District that eliminate height limitations. Chair Mary Lauria-Joyal, along with members Michael Villa and Patrick Jones, outlined plans to engage the Chamber of Commerce on business recruitment and worker retention challenges.

The committee unanimously approved prior meeting minutes.
